In the 80's era a young lad by the name of Scott Jordison was growing up in the lower mainland outside of the big city Vancouver Canada. He grew up with his father, and helped with the family roofing business. Scott had to type contracts, estimate sheets, and help maintain the trucks for the business. In various cases he would help out on jobs after school.
In the early years of the 90's, Scott decided to live in the valley away from the main city. It was here that in 1991 Scott had coffee in the L.A. cafe. As he sat waiting for his breakfast, he asked the waitress "What does the L.A. stand for"? She replied Langley / Aldergrove?. It was then that Scott had the name. Scott started using the name L.A. Roofing, and it was an instant hit in the residential area of the roofing industry around the local Langley, Aldergrove, and Abbotsford areas. To this day Scott still says it's an abbreviation for Langley /Abbotsford, not Aldergrove, because of the company's local everyday field work. The roofing company is still used everyday locally more in these two districts then any other in British Columbia's lower Vancouver mainland.
The roofing company was incorporated in 1998 as L.A. Roofing Ltd. In this same year it had close connections with huge corporations such as Tremco, and RPM. The company started to soar with calls to a point where it had to sub out work or hire more personnel for divisionary and secondary crews. The company later started to push sales in the commercial sector of the roofing Industry. Today the company is mostly known for it's retro-fitting, and re-constructive methods of the built up roof system.
In 2006 The roofing company had decided on a newer milestone. The thought of expansion into the United States of America. L.A. Roofing Ltd would have a new operating name L.A. Pacific Roofing Group.
